Speech Pathologist Assistant in Sunnyvale, CA
An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students across multiple school sites in Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position offers a balanced 32-hour workweek, spread over five days, working with students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language support and intervention to students under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for each student on the caseload.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support the overall speech-language program goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification/license in California is mandatory.
- Experience working with TK-12 students in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple school sites efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
