Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active California SLPA license in good standing
- Experience providing speech therapy services in school or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with individualized education program (IEP) implementation and documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directives from supervising SLPs and work collaboratively with educators and caregivers
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech-language therapy plans under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Support students in classroom or clinical settings to develop communication and language skills
- Document progress and maintain accurate session records in compliance with program requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute observations and suggestions for student growth
- Prepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needs
- Help with screenings, assessments, and reporting as directed
