Ideal Experience & Skills:
- Valid SLPA license or certification, with school-based experience preferred
- Familiarity with providing direct and indirect speech-language services in a K-12 environment
- Strong collaboration skills for working alongside supervising SLPs, teachers, and staff
- Ability to document progress accurately and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP according to students’ IEPs
- Document student progress, session notes, and report information as required
- Support classroom teachers and educational teams in implementing communication goals and activities
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal/ethical school guidelines
- Contribute positively to school climate, fostering student engagement and growth
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Schedule & Assignments:
- Positions begin August 5, 2026; end dates vary: two on October 30, 2026, and one extending through February 27, 2027
- Each position is onsite only, Monday through Friday, not exceeding 30 hours per week
