Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP) Opportunities – Lexington, NC
ProCare Therapy is partnering with Davidson County Schools in the Lexington, North Carolina area to hire multiple Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year. The district is seeking dedicated clinicians who are passionate about supporting students with diverse communication needs and offers support for Clinical Fellows.
Position Details
4 Speech-Language Pathologist openings
Full-time position
Contract dates: August 12, 2026 – June 11, 2027
35–37.5 hours per week
School-based position
Opportunities primarily located in the eastern and southern areas of Davidson County Schools
Caseload preferences can be discussed during the interview process
Caseloads capped at approximately 35 students
Clinical Fellows (CFY-SLP) are encouraged to apply
District supervision available for Clinical Fellows
SLPAs are not being considered at this time
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience working with students with Autism (AU)
Experience supporting students with low cognitive disabilities
Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
Support students across a variety of communication and learning needs
