School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Falls Church, Virginia

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Speech-Language, or Communication Disorders (required)
- Eligibility to work as an SLPA in a school setting (no SLPA license required in VA)
- Demonstrated experience or training in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Passion for helping diverse student populations achieve their best
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work closely with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver therapy sessions and carry out individualized student treatment plans
- Support children with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges in classroom and one-on-one settings
- Implement evidence-based strategies under supervision, track student progress, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and parents to foster a communicative and inclusive learning environment
- Engage in ongoing professional learning to enhance your impact within the school community
