Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans and monitor progress
- Accurately documenting and maintaining records of student performance and intervention outcomes
- Engaging with educators and families to support student communication goals within the school setting
- Managing materials and supporting the organization of therapy sessions for individual and group services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Speech Language, or Communication Disorders is required
- Previous experience supporting students or children in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage a therapy caseload efficiently
- No SLPA license required in Virginia for this role
Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), giving you structure and the opportunity to see your students progress throughout the academic year. Your assignment will span from your start date through June 11th, 2027, providing long-term stability and the satisfaction of supporting growth over multiple school years at elementary campuses.
