Role Highlights:

- Work 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) across two supportive school communities.
- Start as soon as possible and support students in their daily school communication activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational or speech-language support setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of implementing intervention activities under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- SLPA license is not required for Virginia, but degree credentials must be met as stated.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist speech-language pathologists in delivering targeted therapy and classroom strategies.
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication challenges.
- Document student progress, and prepare observation notes and materials.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere among students and staff.
- Participate actively in school meetings and professional development sessions.
