Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a special education setting
- Familiarity with implementing speech-language interventions and tracking student progress
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a positive commitment to student success
- Ability to work consistently throughout the full school year, in a contract capacity
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Provide direct support and instruction to students with speech and language needs
- Assist in conducting screenings and assessments as directed
- Maintain thorough records of sessions, student progress, and data collection
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters growth and achievement
- Attend team meetings and participate in professional development as required
