Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with SLPs, teachers, and families
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions
- Document student performance and report findings to supervising SLPs and school staff
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Attend required meetings and participate in professional development as needed
