Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Speech-Language Disorders is required
- SLPA license not necessary for this role within the state
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for student growth and learning support
Role Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language support to students under supervision of a certified SLP
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect data and maintain progress reports
- Support classroom teachers with strategies for fostering communication skills in students
- Participate in meetings, training, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
