Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Speech Language, or a related field required
- No SLPA license required for Virginia
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children
- Excellent organizational abilities and a flexible, problem-solving attitude
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans and supporting student progress
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce communication skills
- Track student performance and document progress as directed
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to provide holistic support to students
- Participate in school meetings and parent conferences as needed
