Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Communication Disorders, or a related field is required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Proficiency in providing speech and language support services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators and parents, as well as work independently
- Effective communicator with both students and faculty
- No SLPA license required in the state of Virginia
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students, following treatment plans developed by a certified SLP
- Maintaining detailed records of student progress and participation
- Assisting in the creation and adaptation of instructional materials
- Participating actively in team meetings and professional development activities
- Supporting a positive, student-centered classroom environment
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Work a full-time school-based schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, for a total of 35 hours per week
- Assignment runs from August 24th, 2026 through June 12th, 2027
