Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a collaborative school team in Seymour, Wisconsin for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to support elementary-aged students while working alongside experienced educational and therapy professionals in a supportive environment.
Position Details
Start Date (Staff): August 25, 2026
Student Start Date: September 1, 2026
End Date: June 3, 2027
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week
Daily Hours: 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM
Setting: Onsite only
Caseload Information
Caseload Size: Approximately 28–30 students
Student Population: Primarily students in 2nd and 3rd grade
Age Range: Approximately 7–8 years old
Responsibilities
Provide speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Implement treatment plans and therapy activities designed by the supervising SLP.
Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate records and support compliance with district and state requirements.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
Wisconsin SLPA licensure/certification (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
