Key Details:
- Contract assignment running from August 25 through June 3, 2027
- Work up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Consistent schedule: 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
- Manage a caseload of 28-30 students within Altoona Elementary School
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience providing speech/language support services in a school setting
- Dynamic, enthusiastic, and reliable professional
- Strong collaborator with outstanding communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with children, teachers, and families
- Preference for in-person support (teletherapy is not the preferred model)
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services under SLP supervision
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
- Maintain accurate data and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
