Qualifications and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an approved SLPA program
- Active SLPA license or certification (in accordance with state requirements)
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in an educational or school setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative education environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement speech, language, and communication interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Assist with the development and delivery of therapy materials and activities
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Support students within classroom and small group settings to enhance communication skills
