Qualifications & Experience:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program with valid certification
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams and implement treatment plans developed by supervising clinicians
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide support with articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills as instructed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Collect and maintain accurate records documenting students’ progress
- Engage in team meetings and parent conferences as necessary
- Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere while adapting strategies to suit diverse learning needs
