This contract opportunity runs full-time through late May 2027, offering a predictable weekday schedule (7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). You’ll work onsite with a caseload of 70-80 students, primarily providing group sessions under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Your passion for language development will help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Collaborate with educators and therapists to implement treatment plans designed to enhance communication skills and foster academic growth.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
  • Experience or training in school-based speech-language pathology is preferred
  • Ability to organize and document student progress effectively
  • Comfortable delivering group-based services to elementary-age children
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with supervising SLP, school staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students as prescribed by supervising SLP
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment to promote student engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with necessary documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other school specialists and educators
