Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active SLPA professional license is required
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to complete state fingerprinting/background check in a timely manner
- Capable of managing a caseload averaging 80–90 students (with peak periods up to 100)
- Comfortable working primarily at one location, with occasional assignment to a second campus as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in working with children
- Willingness to work on-site; remote arrangements are not offered for this role
Primary Duties:
- Deliver speech-language services to elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement individualized therapy sessions, interventions, and activities as directed
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to district and legal requirements
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
- Contribute to interdisciplinary meetings and assist with screenings and assessments as assigned
