Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Cibolo, TX
Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment near Cibolo, TX. This is a contract opportunity with immediate start and an end date set for May 27, 2027. Interview opportunities are available immediately and you’ll be working with a caseload of 40-45 students, providing essential speech and language services in a school setting. You’ll collaborate with teachers, staff, and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to help students achieve communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLPA License in Texas required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-45 K-12 students
- Team-oriented with a commitment to student success
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising SLP
- Conduct group and individual speech-language therapy sessions
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Document student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress
- Participate in team meetings and Provide support in IEP development as needed
This position offers a competitive pay range of $35-$40 per hour, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
