Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid California SLPA license
- Minimum of 3 months of experience as an SLPA
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary school children (TK-5)
- Open and flexible to both in-person and virtual service delivery as needed
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly desirable, though not mandatory
- Strong communication abilities and comfort working within a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech-language therapy plans under the supervision of an experienced SLP
- Provide individualized and group interventions to address communication and language goals
- Collect and document data on student progress, maintaining detailed records
- Support the supervising SLP with lesson preparation, materials, and assessments
- Participate in team meetings and collaborations with school staff and families
