Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Fingerprint background check through AHCA Clearinghouse (transferrable prints may expedite credentialing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to organize caseloads across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of speech and language therapy plans as directed by licensed SLPs
- Deliver direct services to students in individual or small group settings
- Collect and document session data
- Assist with progress reporting, IEP documentation, and communication with school staff and families
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
This position is fully on-site, emphasizing hands-on collaboration and direct student interaction.
