School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Bowie, Maryland

Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a current, valid SLPA license issued in Maryland
- Background in educational or pediatric speech-language support, preferably in a school setting
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and implementing therapy goals
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Comfortable providing services to diverse age groups, from early childhood through high school
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement IEP goals and tailored therapy strategies within a school-based setting
- Collect data, document student progress, and maintain thorough records
- Support SLPs in preparing materials and tracking outcomes
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to encourage students’ communication skills across settings
- Adapt to different caseloads and age ranges as needed throughout the assignment
