Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Bethel, Vermont. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students, helping them improve communication skills and achieve academic success under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student outcomes
Assist with screenings, assessments, and other tasks as assigned
Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active SLPA license or certification in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
