School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Berwyn, Illinois

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active SLPA license or certification
- Previous experience working in a school environment (preferred)
- Understanding of IEPs and the ability to provide direct and indirect therapy services
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, teachers, and parents
- Eagerness to work as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Prepare materials and activities to aid in student communication development
- Document progress and maintain thorough records following district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
