Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure for the state of Colorado
- Previous experience in educational settings, especially K-8, is highly valued
- Solid understanding of articulation, language, and communication interventions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities for effective caseload management
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8 students as prescribed by the supervising SLP
- Assist in administering screenings, assessments, and therapy activities under the direction of the SLP
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records aligned with school protocols
- Partner with educators and other professionals to support student learning goals
- Contribute to team meetings and planning sessions for student support plans
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all duties
