Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students in grades 5-7 with speech-language needs. As a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide direct care and therapeutic interventions throughout the 2026 fall and early winter semester. From collaborative assessments to individualized therapy sessions, your expertise will help shape young learners’ communication and academic success.

This full-time assignment runs from August 19, 2026, through mid-January 2027 and offers the chance to make a significant difference during a pivotal academic period. You’ll work within a dedicated team of educators and specialists who value innovation and student-centered strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license or eligibility in the state of Minnesota
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy, particularly with middle school students
  • Knowledge of IEP process and development for special education students
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for middle school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and staff
  • Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to foster communication skills
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required
  • Consult with families and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
