The position begins August 19, 2026, and runs through January 15, 2027 (estimated), offering full-time hours (40 hours/week) in a collaborative educational environment. You'll work alongside educators and support staff to deliver individualized and group speech therapy within a supportive middle school building.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations, especially grades 5–7, preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based service delivery models
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, for students in grades 5-7
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Educate and consult with staff and parents regarding communication strategies
- Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
