Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Illinois licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) according to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support students’ educational outcomes
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services per school and student schedules
