Skills & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
- Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and deliver direct and consultative therapy services tailored to student goals
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute insights, and help set realistic goals for students
- Educate and collaborate with staff and parents on strategies for supporting communication development in a school environment
