Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Demonstrated skills as a school-based SLP (SLP - School)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Active state licensure in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start
- Experience collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students within the assigned school(s)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support IEP goals and align with each child’s needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to maximize student success in the classroom and beyond
- Maintain comprehensive records of evaluations, progress, and services in accordance with district and federal requirements
- Offer support and training to staff regarding communication disorders and interventions
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to holistic student care
