Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for or possession of a current state SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Prefer experience with school-aged children or prior school-based SLP role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate well with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff on student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Educate families and staff on supporting students’ communication needs
