Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an SLP looking for a manageable caseload while providing supervision, participating in IEP meetings, and conducting evaluations.
The school is also open to a team-based service model consisting of a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and a part-time SLP. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys collaborating with school teams and supporting students without an overly intensive caseload.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision to a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Conduct speech and language evaluations as needed
Provide clinical guidance and support to the SLPA
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
Monitor student progress and provide recommendations as needed
Support students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
Maintain accurate documentation and evaluation records
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Experience supervising SLPAs preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Passion for supporting student growth and communication development
