Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • State licensure or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
  • Experience in pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and student goal-setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnosis of speech, voice, fluency, and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for student support
  • Offer direct and consultative speech-language services to students, adapting methods to suit diverse needs
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance communication and learning outcomes
