School Speech Language Pathologist - Woodland, CA
Shape young lives and make a difference working as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site position provides the chance to support PreK and Kindergarten students (approximately 25-35 on your caseload) in a supportive educational environment near Woodland, CA. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators, helping children strengthen their communication skills and reach important developmental milestones.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license; applicants currently licensed in another state are welcome to apply if you are willing to pursue California licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
- Expertise supporting early childhood/preK and kindergarten aged students
- Passion for helping young learners build confidence and communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to PreK and Kindergarten students in group and individual settings
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to maximize student success
- Adapt and modify treatment plans as needed based on student response
- Attend relevant team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
