Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid SLP license in California (or eligible for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but SLP-CF candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience providing speech-language support in K-12 schools is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassion and adaptability when working with students from varied backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students referred for speech-language concerns
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and compliance with district and state requirements
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to facilitate communication strategies within the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
