Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • Valid SLP license in California (or eligible for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but SLP-CF candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience providing speech-language support in K-12 schools is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Compassion and adaptability when working with students from varied backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students referred for speech-language concerns
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress and compliance with district and state requirements
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to facilitate communication strategies within the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
