Qualifications/Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California State SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC certification preferred (SLP-CF candidates encouraged to apply)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and write reports regarding a variety of speech and language disorders
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Support in-service training and offer strategies for classroom communication support
