Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and serve students across K-12 with a variety of communication needs
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Dedication to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student goals and state requirements
- Provide direct therapy sessions and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and relevant school events
- Offer support and education to staff and families regarding student needs and progress
