School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Winton, California
Step into a fulfilling contract position as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting young students from Pre-K to 1st grade. Beginning July 17th, 2026, you'll join a dynamic educational setting, working full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, helping children develop the communication skills essential to their educational success.
What we’re looking for:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working in school-based environments
- Confidence in managing a caseload of 35 students, with the potential to serve up to 55 across the contract
- Strong background in supporting early childhood and primary grade students (Pre-K to 1st)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Flexibility, organizational ability, and positive, student-centered mindset
- Commitment to on-site presence for effective, direct intervention
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, adapting to individual needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for students with varying communication disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support holistic growth
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and offer expertise to the school team
- Foster an inclusive educational environment that encourages student participation and achievement
