School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Merced, California

This onsite, full-time role spans Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, beginning July 17th, 2026. You’ll be working with an initial caseload of 35 students, with potential to grow to 55, primarily serving children from Pre-K to 1st grade. Your early intervention and support will play a key role in fostering communication milestones.
Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Previous experience working in school settings, with a passion for supporting young children
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing speech, language, and communication needs for students in Pre-K through 1st grade
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Maintaining thorough documentation, progress reports, and IEP records
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure cohesive care and support
- Providing engaging therapy sessions onsite, creating a nurturing and supportive environment
