Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Winter Garden, FL

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings, is highly valued
- Familiarity with school-based therapy models
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and counseling
- Ability to document progress and develop IEP goals effectively
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a case load of 20 students
- Develop, implement, and track IEPs in partnership with teachers and parents
- Use evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and create student-centered plans
- Document ongoing student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
- Participate in meetings, team discussions, and professional development as appropriate
- Offer consultation and support to educational staff regarding strategies and accommodations
