Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Wilmington, DE. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, serving K–12 students with a range of speech and language needs.
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are strongly encouraged to apply, with supervision and mentorship support available.
Responsibilities
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students.
Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service logs.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
Support compliance with district, state, and IDEA requirements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Delaware SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFs welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of school-based services and IEP processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a school team.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay: $40–$50 per hour

Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
Familiarity with articulation, language, fluency, and AAC needs
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Experience with IEP management systems is a plus
