Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Delaware near Townsend. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with students across various grade levels, helping them develop communication skills that support academic success and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Delaware SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Delaware Department of Education certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
