Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for a diverse caseload
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other educational staff
- Commitment to supporting IEP goals and maintaining thorough documentation
- Capacity to organize workload efficiently and adapt to the dynamic needs of a school environment
- Current state licensure or eligibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct intervention tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to best support holistic student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to documentation, and maintain compliance with all local and federal regulations
- Engage with parents and caregivers to promote carryover of strategies and progress outside of therapy sessions
- Provide ongoing progress updates and adjust interventions as needed
