Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP License/Certification required (please provide documentation)
- Experience working in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct speech-language therapy, comprehensive evaluations, and develop student IEP goals
- Skilled in tracking and documenting student progress, utilizing school-based data systems
- Strong teamwork skills—willing to collaborate closely with teachers, related service staff, families, and administrators
- Flexibility to adapt to caseload or assignment changes, if needed
- Able to reliably work onsite 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM EST, with no accommodations for late arrival or early departure
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Complete thorough evaluations and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Monitor and record progress towards IEP goals
- Collaborate actively with school staff and external providers to best meet student needs
- Foster open communication with families regarding student progress and strategies
- Participate in school initiatives or adapt support as district needs evolve
