Position Overview
Sheldon ISD is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech and language services. The position includes a traditional student caseload along with evaluation responsibilities for preschool-aged children.
Caseload & Services
• Approximately 58 speech-language students
• Evaluations and testing for non-enrolled children ages 3–5 with speech or language concerns
• Arena and SI testing responsibilities
• Direct and consultative speech-language services
• IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Texas SLP license
• Appropriate school-based credentials
• CCC-SLPs and eligible Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
• School or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
• Provide speech and language therapy services
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments
• Develop and monitor IEP goals
• Complete required reports and service documentation
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
