About the Role
A school district in Sheldon, Texas is looking for a full-time SLP to support students with speech and language needs. This position also includes evaluation responsibilities for preschool-aged children who are not currently enrolled in the district.
Primary Duties
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Complete speech and language evaluations and screenings
• Support IEP development and progress monitoring
• Participate in student meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain accurate service and evaluation documentation
• Assist with Arena and SI testing for children ages 3–5 with suspected speech or language needs
Candidate Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Current Texas SLP license
• Appropriate school-based credentials
• CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellowship candidate
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
