Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Texas SLP license (or eligibility) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- School-based experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with ARD process is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations and provide 1-2 days per week of direct therapy
- Prepare present levels, develop goals, and offer service time recommendations for ARD meetings
- Attend speech-only ARD meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Benefit from an in-place assistant supervised by another SLP, ensuring you can focus on your assigned caseload
