School Speech Language Pathologist - Wilmington, Delaware

Opportunities are available in three settings: an itinerant early childhood role (SLP-CCC required), a middle school general education population (SLP-CF welcomed), and a specialized elementary program for students with complex needs (SLP-CCC required). Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware SLP License (must be attached with application)
- ASHA SLP-CCC required for itinerant early childhood and elementary B.R.I.D.G.E.S. roles; SLP-CF accepted for middle school placement
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including intensive or complex needs settings, is considered an asset
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Contract assignment beginning 8/19/2026 and concluding 6/15/2027
- Standard hours: 8:25am–3:55pm, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week with 30-minute paid lunch)
- Deliver targeted speech and language services aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and timely reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt intervention techniques to meet a range of developmental and communication needs
