Key Qualifications:

  • Delaware state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials accepted
  • Background in school settings or early childhood preferred
  • Experience with moderate to severe student needs is a plus
  • Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Adaptable, proactive, and effective in problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver targeted speech language therapy for diverse student populations, addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, articulation, social language skills, oral-motor function, feeding, and language delays
  • Administer diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate, creating detailed and insightful reports on student assessments
  • Manage and update IEP goals and objectives, contributing to individualized student success plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and peers to ensure coordinated support and open communication regarding student progress
