School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Williston, South Carolina
Step into an impactful role supporting young learners’ communication development as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist. Serving pre-K through third-grade students, you’ll help transform lives by fostering critical speech and language skills in a school environment. With a small student caseload, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to set each child up for success.
This part-time position is structured for 2 days per week on-site, ideally on Mondays and Wednesdays—providing a balanced schedule that supports your professional and personal commitments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential and state licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with early childhood and elementary-aged students, preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students aged 3K to 3rd grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for a caseload of approximately 16 students
- Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
- Offer consultation and resources to staff and parents to facilitate skill generalization
